Figurative and botanical work that celebrates the intimate beauty of everyday life.

Stephanie Ressel is a figurative and botanical artist working primarily in watercolor, graphite, and colored pencil. Her work highlights the intimate beauty found in everyday life—whether a quiet gesture or the delicate structure of a plant. Born in Guatemala and now based in New England, she draws inspiration from the changing seasons and the natural world around her.

Painting / Mixed Media

Her mixed media, watercolor, and acrylics works are primarily still life paintings of objects she comes across in her daily life - flowers, fruits, vegetables. She often combines watercolor with colored pencils or ink, allowing for an unusual juxtaposition of loose, soft brushstrokes and precise, sharp pencil marks.
