Towel
This 9”x12” acrylics work features a soft, cream-colored towel hanging against a cool, light blue wall. The towel’s shape is defined by deep, shadowed folds created by its natural weight, with areas of warm highlights and cooler shadows conveying depth and texture. The cool pale blues of the wall allow the warmer hues of the towel to stand forward.
It was chosen to hang in the 2025 Berta Golahny Awards exhibit at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education (CCAE).

Nauset Beach
This watercolor focuses on a quiet coastal scene using soft washes and minimal detail. The composition emphasizes open space and the relationship between sand, sea, and sky. Subtle tonal shifts create a calm atmosphere, while the distant shoreline adds a sense of scale and context.
